The easiest way to activate Siri on your iPhone is to hold down the home button for two seconds. But what if your Home Button doesn’t work properly anymore, or you simply want to activate Siri with a single Tap? Then SiriLaunch is a tweak for you.
SiriLaunch adds a Siri Logo to the bottom of your Notification Center. The position of the logo is adjustable in the settings. So all you need to do to activate Siri is swiping down to get to the Notification Center and tap the Siri icon.
There have been a lot of great tweaks that let you customize Siri since the iPhone 4S jailbreak. The best example is currently AssistanExtensions. An upcoming tweak called MySiri also looks very promising.
MySiri lets you do even more than all the other tweaks out there. You can toggle system preferences, create your own conversations and even change Siri’s background. Perhaps the most interesting thing is Activator integration: MySiri includes the ability to execute Activator actions using your own voice commands.
A few months back we learned how to make Siri conversations on the internet which you could save and upload. But the sad part was that Siri was not able to speak out those conversations. And if someone asked “Hey the picture you uploaded was awesome! Can I do that with Siri as well?” you would have had to tell them that it’s not a real Siri screenshot. Until now.
iOS Developer Ori Kadoshi released a Cydia Tweak called “Custom Siri Background” that lets you change Siri’s background. You can choose any background image or use images from your camera roll. Continue reading →
