Siri works great if you want to message your “wife”, “son” or “boss”, but if you are looking for a person with an unusual name, Siri might not recognize that name.
However, there is an easy way to fix this. Just tell Siri you want to text that person. Siri then responds with the name it thinks you just said. Now open your contacts, locate the person, click edit, click “add field”, select Phonetic First Name and put in the name Siri recognized in step one.
Now Siri will now recognize this person.
