Yet Another Team Claims to Have Successfully Ported Siri, Release Today at Midnight EST

The team behind @TheSiriPort said that they successfully ported Siri and are going to release it today at midnight EST.

TheSiriPort release today at midnightThey answered some of the most common questions on Twitter.

According to @TheSiriPort. they have been working in their port since the day the iPhone 4S was released. It is also 100% legal and requires no iPhone 4S auth token, therefore they do not have to deal with copyright issues and we don’t have to wait for an iPhone 4S jailbreak.

We are using our own port which we have been working on since day 1. It is 100% legal and requires no iPhone 4S auth token.

Their port should work on the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, iPod Touch 3G, iPad 1 and iPad 2. Although the iPad 2 is probably just a typo as they later confirmed that the device you want to install Siri on needs to be jailbroken, and there is currently no jailbreak available for the iPad 2.

Works on iPhone 4, iPad, iPod Touch

@t_kid95 Yes, it works on the iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod Touch 4G and 3G, and iPad 1 and 2.

They also said that their port will be free. It does require your device to run a jailbroken version of iOS 5. Once the port is released (today at midnight), they will post a link on their Twitter account. You can then visit the website on you iDevice and follow the simple steps there. After some minutes, all the necessary changed should have been made to your device and you should be able to use Siri. They put a lot of work into making their prot as easy to use as possible. They said it should be similar to the process of jailbreaking on

WARNING: I would not visit their website on your iOS device right away. They might have used some kind of exploit (for example the Saffron exploit by Comex) to install malware on your iOS device. Just wait until we know that their port is legit.

  1. I hope you realize how much credibility your website loses by posting this article…. of all the siri port fakers there are @TheSiriPort has got to be the worst. When asked for video proof, they said they would record a video and then their camera conveniently “broke.” And then they claimed that they were taking their camera in for repairs at 3 in the morning. And then they released a “proof video” where it was just a picture of a crab with someone using a 4S in the audio in the background.

To date, they have yet to release a single ounce of evidence that they have a working port.

    • I know that they have not released any evidence for their port so far (and they probably won’t). Also, the story about their camera is extremely suspicious. Still, I don’t see why my website should lose credibility by publishing this article. I explicitly warned people to NOT visit their website until we have proof that it is real and does not contain malware etc. (After all, it could still be real. We simply don’t know yet.)
I see how this article might drive more attention to their “fake port”, but they already had over 900 followers when I released this article. This means that a lot of people are interested in the development of this particular port. So I might as well write an article and advise the readers to remain cautious.

  2. I think its gonna be some kind of exploit … They are telling everyone to tell their friend and talk about it .. Its gonna be released at midnight … So u can guess they had time to have a lot of people waiting for midnight to come . They will all get infected at the same time , by the time the word is out thats its some kind of virus it will have already infected thousands of users . If its some kind of bank account hack like it was done before on android midnight would be a perfect time …. But i will be happy to visit their website tommorow if i see everyone talking about it being legit but let me doubt it and recommend not trying it before your sure its legit .

  3. “Their port should work on the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, iPod Touch 4G, iPad 1 and iPad 2.”

Whoa, it will work on both the iPod touch 4G AND iPod touch 4G?!

Jokes aside, I will definitely wait for confirmation from other users. I don’t trust these guys yet. Thanks for the news

  4. This guy is 100% fraud. He has been repeatedly asked for proof and all he comes up with is BS. He is scamming people for donations. This article is only fueling this whole scam.

  5. visited the website…check it out…its a simple meta refresh…meaning theres nothing on the sites…meaning that its fake…

    Installing siri!
